Responsibilities for Wound Care Nurse :
Provide patient care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the written plan of care as well as physicians plan of treatment.
Demonstrate sound clinical judgement.
Provide wound care in accordance with patient needs and best clinical judgement
Provide respectful and compassionate care to all residents / families / caregivers.
Provide direction to clinical team members.
Maintain resident confidentiality.
Accurate documentation in accordance with the orders provided.
Qualifications of Wound Care Nurse :
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active LPN or RN license in this state.
Wound Care Certified strongly preferred but not required.
Must have at least 2 years prior experience working as a Wound Care Nurse in a Nursing Home setting.
