Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager and Fiscal Officer (HR/FO) is a dual-role executive position responsible for overseeing the human resources and financial operations of the organization. This leader ensures the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent while maintaining financial health and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can integrate people and financial strategies to drive organizational growth and sustainability in a small business setting.
Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR Management, or a related field (Preferred).
· Experience: 4 years of experience in HR and financial management roles, preferably in small businesses or startups.
· Strong understanding of labor laws, financial planning, and accounting principles.
· Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and financial software. (APS and QuickBooks are used)
· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources (HR Focus)
· Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals.
· Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
· Foster a positive workplace culture focused on employee engagement, inclusion, and well-being.
· Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and internal policies.
· Manage compensation, benefits, and incentive programs to attract and retain talent.
· Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plans.
· Create and execute professional development and training programs for staff growth.
Financial Management (FO Focus)
· Develop and monitor the company’s annual budget and long-term financial plans.
· Oversee financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
· Manage cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
· Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.
· Collaborate with department heads to align financial and operational strategies.
· Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and financial reporting standards.
· Present financial updates and performance reports to the CEO and stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour
