Position Summary :
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is responsible for the daily interactions with clients, maintaining patient schedule, headcounts and 24-hour observation of client activities and locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

- Maintains daily observations of clients at various levels of care at the required time intervals
- Conduct all interactions in a professional and ethical manner.
- Follows facility regulations regarding infections control, incident reporting and risk management.
- Conducts point of care testing such as urine drug screens, pregnancy tests and breathalyzer
- Conduct on person body searches of all new clients during time of admissions
- Conducts searches of all clients belongs.
- Attends all mandatory trainings and meetings.
- Maintains a safe environment for clients, visitors, and staff.
- Transports patients in approved vehicles to approved events.
- Navigate basic computer skills
