The Route Driver Assistant position offers an opportunity to work closely with the Route Driver to deliver products efficiently to various locations. The chosen candidate will receive training in our vending warehouse to understand vending and software operations. This training will cover how products are picked for our vendors before they are dispatched for delivery.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the Route Driver in loading and unloading products during deliveries.
- Gain familiarity with vending warehouse operations and software used for order picking.
- Support in navigating delivery routes and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Help maintain accurate delivery records and assist in paperwork as needed.
- Collaborate with the Route Driver to ensure customer satisfaction with delivered products.
**Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Willingness to learn and be trained in vending warehouse operations.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy objects.
- Effective communication skills and a strong team player.
