Vending Repair Technician

Position: Vending Warehouse Technician Status: Full-time, Non-exempt

Department: Vending Repair Shop

Reports to: General Manger, Vending

Our team is currently looking for a Vending Warehouse Technician to support the vending and beverage day to day operations in the shop. This position responsibilities include loading, unloading, transporting and installations, set-up, repair and ongoing maintenance of equipment. This is a highly visible role and work is often performed in high-traffic guest areas; therefore, the ability to perform tasks and provide basic guest interaction will be expected. Successful candidates will be a role model for others and will work productively with little supervision.

General Responsibilities:

• The Vending Technician is responsible for the installation, set-up, repair, and ongoing maintenance of vending equipment.
• Ability to refurbish new and used equipment in service shop.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems with equipment, identify solutions and/or techniques for resolution.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment and operating systems.
• Maintain and inspect equipment and ensure it is in satisfactory condition (e.g., clean and sanitize machines, load/unload materials, clean work areas) according to company policies and procedures.
• Performs additional duties within scope of the role as assigned by management.

Safety:

• Comply with all department and company policies and procedures to include safety rules and regulations, recognizing hazards and taking reasonable and appropriate action to report and or resolve.
• Ability to utilize motorized equipment and vehicles in a safe and cautious manner to perform tasks successfully.
• Remain current on certifications and trainings required to be compliant in role.

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Must be professional in this highly visible role. This position in performed in high traffic guest areas: therefore, the ability to perform tasks and provide basic interaction will be always expected.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push/pull and frequently lift up to 50lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work Monday - Friday 7 AM – 4 PM and be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Willingness to be open to learning and growing
• Ability to be a role model for others and work with little supervision.

Working Conditions:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be flexible to work in a controlled temperature environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold weather during support of outside duties.

Experience/Knowledge:

• High School Diploma or the equivalent
• 2 years of work-related experience
• Basic operating of a computer to include basic excel knowledge, sending emails, typing word documents
• Familiarity with basic warehousing operations a plus; however, not required.
