The SL AVP is responsible for the coordinated activity of development and implementation of strategic, programmatic, and operational planning for the service line across all regions and divisions of Riverside Health System working collaboratively with leadership, physicians and peers. The scope of responsibilities include defining an actionable scope of service line definition, program development and growth, financial analysis, providing direct support for physician recruitment, planning new or expanded product initiatives to increase market share and profitability resulting in service line growth. Working in collaboration with RHS Marketing and Strategy provides internal and external Service Line communication and marketing. Works in partnership with service line chiefs to support physician/clinical input to achieve service line success .and provides direct support for physician recruitment. This position is responsible for service line integration across all regions and divisions, excellence in clinical outcomes, improved customer satisfaction (internal and external), and positive business outcomes. This position also directs and promotes best practice standards to include, but not limited to, assuring regulatory, accreditation and clinical standards are met.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors Degree, Healthcare Administration, Business or clinical related field of study (Required)
- Masters Degree, Healthcare Administration or clinical related field of study (Highly Preferred)
Experience
- 3-5 years Experience in progressive management in healthcare. Extensive knowledge of the healthcare environment. (Required)
- 3-5 years of oncology services experience (Preferred)
- 2 years Sales and marketing experience (Preferred)
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of best practices in healthcare operations.
- A self-starter who is comfortable leading projects autonomously and knows which stakeholders to engage to drive initiatives forward.
- Ability to exercise excellent judgment and a high degree of emotional intelligence is required.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique and coordination of people and resources.
