Position Overview
Riverside Research is seeking an Enterprise IT / SW Engineer to assist in evaluating technical solutions, developing strategy, drafting policy, creating process, and implementing actions to modernize the National Air & Space Intelligence Center’s (NASIC) hardware and software infrastructure at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This position will be part of a team of two providing support to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO). Candidates must be technically proficient and capable of devising practical and sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic technical leadership and advice to the vision, design, and oversight of complex projects, spanning hardware and software solutions
- Provide technical analysis of enterprise issues and processes and propose solutions
- Conduct analysis of alternatives (AoAS) for IT / SW / data related technologies and services and provide the customer with recommendations for enterprise implementation
- Collaborate with enterprise IT architects, customers, developers, and other stakeholders to develop new enterprise level IT / SW / data tech solution for both on- and off-prem cloud native environments
- Work with operations and stakeholders to develop, transition, and monitor plans for IT acquisition and implementation
- Advise government customer in the prioritization of activities
- Develop and communicate program vision and goals
- Produce strategic communication materials (schedules, briefings, etc.) to keep stakeholders apprised of program progress and roadblocks
- Work with the acquisition office to procure of HW and SW solutions
- Participate in strategic planning activities such as budget planning and technical proposal reviews
- Assist in the creation and review of strategy documents and guardrails, guidance, and policy documentation
- Other duties as assigned
