Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing human physiology, behavioral, and cognitive data collected from human participants.
- Contribute to the collection and processing of experimental data , ensuring methodological rigor and accuracy.
- Support the development of models of human behavior , including statistical approaches and Markov Decision Processes (MDPs) to predict decision-making and task completion.
- Work with simulation environments such as Virtual Battlespace (VBS) to implement and test research findings.
- Assist in literature reviews and comparative analysis of existing computation algorithms.
- Document findings and prepare reports to support system development and business development activities.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Cognitive Science, Data Science, Neuroscience, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field .
- Experience with human physiology, behavioral, and cognitive data analysis .
- Familiarity with statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and Markov Decision Processes (MDPs) .
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, R, or other data analysis tools .
- Experience with collecting and processing experimental data .
- Knowledge of decision-support systems, multi-agent coordination, or human performance modeling is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary research team.
- Hands-on experience in cutting-edge research at the intersection of engineering and human cognitive science with an experienced team.
