Position Overview
Are you a "people person" with the ability to foster a collaborative, team environment while integrating security requirements? Riverside Research is looking for a Security Co-Op to assist with managing government security requirements in a manner that supports mission accomplishment while maintaining compliance. This position will support our Lexington Research Office - 15 miles from downtown Boston. If this sounds like you, we look forward to meeting you and having you join our team.
The ideal candidate for this position is a recent undergraduate or master's student who wants to get an understanding of the defense industry.
Responsibilities
Overview : This co-op position will report to the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and assist with day-to-day tasks associated with security and compliance.
Assist with on time processing of paperwork in support of personnel clearances
- Understand, communicate, apply, and enforce security policies and provide direction and guidance to Riverside Research staff for all security matters
- Apply security requirements in a manner that gains employee support and strikes a balance to jointly enable efficient office mission accomplishment while maintaining compliance
- Interface professionally with company leadership, customers, and visitors
- Foster teamwork and collaborate with other security, information technology, information security and facility team members
- Establish positive working relationships with our employees, Government customers and security community professionals
- Assist with developing and delivering security training materials
- Ability to manage time, analyze problems and provide focused solutions.
- Make interpretations and decisions with guidance and oversight
- Other duties as assigned

25.00 hour This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
