Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall success of our food service operations, supporting both the kitchen staff and the dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring that food safety standards are followed.
• Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for food service.
• Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are cleaned and ready for use.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus.
• A strong commitment to cleanliness and sanitation practices in hospitality settings.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
