Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or RN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in inpatient setting, ensuring that residents receive the attention and medical support they need.
Responsibilities
- Conduct resident assessments to determine health status and needs.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate residents and their families about health management and disease prevention.
- Perform basic life support (BLS) as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Practical Nurse or RN in the state of practice.
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical-surgical nursing practices.
- Experience in long-term care is helpful
- Strong skills in patient assessment and care delivery.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical records and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on resident support.
