Provides leadership and mentorship/support to the staff based on the needs of the department. Participates in quality and customer service programs.
What you will do
- Supervises and provides oversight to technologists and/or ancillary staff in the provision of imaging services.
- Supervises shift operations and handles staffing and scheduling.
- Validates staff competencies and assists with training.
- Responsible for safety and quality of imaging services. Facilitates compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Schedules and monitors health equipment physics review and state inspections
- Produces and ensures team produces quality images and studies, following appropriate RHS policies, protocols, procedures and documentation.
- Demonstrates professional behavior/conduct in all interactions, fosters teamwork, efficient use of resources, and ensures positive customer experience.
- Ensures team members accurately complete all steps of barcode medication administration(BCMA). Assures alignment of procedure/order to diagnosis.
- Completes all team member evaluations by due date.

Experience
- 3-4 years Recent relevant experience (Required)
- 1 year Supervisory experience (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
- Radiologic Technologists - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiology (R) Upon Hire(Required) or
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technician (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Inc (NMTCB) Upon Hire(Required) or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Upon Hire(Required) and
- CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire(Required)
