Riverside Transport Inc. has an opening for Helpdesk Support I within the IT department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and be a part of a great IT support team.
The IT team at RTI uses a wide variety of modern technologies to provide support and has a great time doing it. Providing excellent service by customer service, know-how, and teamwork, the IT team at RTI supports over 300 employees.
Job Function
- Utilize ticketing system to document issue status and resolution
- Setup and image PCs for deployment
- Support Windows OS
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting systems, printers and desktop/laptop components
- Provide support and installation of software applications
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of IT hardware
- Use remote access software to troubleshoot technical problems
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues
- Assist in troubleshooting and configuring phone system settings
- Assist with basic Android tablet troubleshooting
- Assist with general printer maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Rotational on-call support
- Provide support via deskside, email, and phone
- Additional duties and projects as needed
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Comfortable working within a team environment and/or independently
- Self-starter with ability to manage time effectively and complete required projects on time
- Ability to identify the elements of a situation/ability to visualize, articulate and solve problems
- Attention to detail
- Remedy experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A desire to learn and excel
Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- 1-2 years of experience or its equivalent formal training preferred but not required
