Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse - ICU to join our team at Riverside University Health Systems. As an ICU nurse, you will provide direct patient care and participate in multidisciplinary rounds to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients on admission and reassess them as needed to identify physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address patient needs and promote optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications safely and effectively, utilizing the 7 rights of medication administration.
- Perform treatments and procedures according to established policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Document patient care activities and outcomes in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
- Current CA RN license.
- 3 years of recent experience in acute care settings, with a focus on critical care nursing.
- ACLS certification preferred; BLS and NIHSS required.
