RiverSpring Health Plans serves over 18,000 frail and disabled individuals, empowering them to live independently in their homes for as long as possible.
As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for assisting in identifying the learning and development needs for clinical staff. Assess competencies and needs for additional training and education and develop all educational programs to address issues.
$20,000 sign-on bonus ($5,000 payable every six months, less taxes)
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop classroom learning plans
- Evaluate the clinical staff performance in the field utilizing a field visit tool
- Clinical Nurse Educator provides feedback to clinical staff, managers and regional directors based on documentation evaluation, competency training, and field evaluations.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
- Three (3) years of experience in an Acute Care setting
- Experience in staff development or adult instruction, and/or home care preferred
- Knowledge of Department of Health and Managed Long Term Care standards for home care required
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak effectively before groups
Compensation:
- Annual salary: $110,000 - $125,000
- Eligible for a 20,000 sign-on bonus ($5,000 payable every six months, less taxes)
