Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers by ensuring that tables are properly set and maintained throughout the dining experience.
- Buss tables promptly after guests have finished their meals, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for new customers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or modifications.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with inquiries.
- Utilize the POS system effectively for order management and communication with the kitchen.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any needs or concerns promptly and courteously.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to handle food safely and adhere to health regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks associated with food service.
