Responsibilities of the Brake Press Setup and Operator
Set up and operate brake press
Identify and execute necessary program edits and machine adjustments to ensure parts are formed to blueprint specifications
Assist in maintenance of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Required Qualifications for the Brake Press Setup and Operator
3 years of brake press operating experience
3 years of brake press setup experience in production runs and prototype parts
Proficient in the use of hand measuring tools (micrometer, caliper, gages, etc.)
Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and routers
High attention to detail
Able to stand for majority of shift
Self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications for the Brake Press Setup and Operator
Offline programming experience
Amada ATC brake press operation and programming experience
