Job Duties:
- The role as a veterinary assistant is to provide support for the veterinarians and licensed veterinary technicians, exhibit exceptional patient care, and provide client education while performing all responsibilities of the position. These duties include but are not limited to assisting veterinarians, in-patient and out-patient care, collection of samples, performance of clinical laboratory procedures, medication administration, and surgical assistance.
Experience:
- One-year as veterinary assistant or similar experience
Schedule:
- Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts (7:00am-6:00pm) with weekend rotation.
