Are you a passionate educator looking for a meaningful opportunity to support students facing mental health challenges? Riverview Center for Growth is seeking a temporary K-6 Teacher to join our team from now until June 2025.

As a K-6 Teacher, You Will:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or Personalized Education Programs (PEPs).
- Coordinate academic instruction with mental health treatment plans.
- Conduct academic assessments and monitor student progress.
- Lead special education meetings and maintain student records.
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and families to provide a comprehensive support system.
- Supervise Instructional Aides, interns, and volunteers in the classroom.
- Implement behavioral interventions and positive classroom management strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and a valid Oregon TSPC Teaching License.
- Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral disorders.
- Knowledge of mental health disorders and their impact on learning.
- Strong classroom management skills, with PBIS training preferred.
- Experience with students with Emotional Disturbances, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Communication Disorders, and Learning Disabilities.
