What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR/SSD Assistant position at RIVERVIEW ESTATES?
Would be assisting HR/SSD with current duties:
Job Title: Human Resources
Reports To: Administrator
Organizational Requirements:
· Must be at least 18 years old
· Must have minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds
· Must not have been convicted of a crime rationally related to their position
· Must have ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards
· Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of all resident and staff information
· Must be able to speak and understand the English language
· Must successfully complete the certification requirements of the licensing state (if applicable)
· Must attend and participate in continuing educational programs, as needed
· Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
· Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, government agencies, physicians, etc.
· Must possess willingness to work harmoniously with all other staff
· Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level in which they are currently functioning
· Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
Duties & Responsibilities
· Place employment ads
· Direct applications/resumes to applicable manager
· Oversee recruitment and hiring process
· Contact references and perform background checks
· Inform applicants about job details such as benefits and conditions
· Preparing paperwork for new employee orientations
· Answer employee questions
· Help coordinate staff events
· Process paperwork
· Manage employee files
· Record keeping
- Follow Residents’ Rights policies at all times
- Observe organizational policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
SSD side of things:
Meeting with residents and doing one on one visits and charting. Listening to any concerns or needs residents may have. Maintaining contact with family members, Care Plan Coordinating, assisting with activities that are occurring.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
