Snack Shack Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, flexible, and enthusiastic Snack Bar Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of snacks and beverages. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our members and guests, ensuring that their experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their snack orders efficiently.
• Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar area, including food preparation stations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
• Provide prompt service during busy periods while managing time effectively to meet customer demands.

Skills

• Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Background in the restaurant or food industry preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Basic culinary skills for efficient food preparation.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
