Dietary Aide

Overview:
The Dietary Aide is responsible for a variety of tasks relating, but not limited, to safe food and beverage handling, proper sanitation and proper cooking techniques that create an individualized, healthy, and enjoyable dining experiences for our community.
Responsibilities:
- Performs proper setting of trays and tables; serves resident meals in the dining room and delivers trays to resident's rooms
- Performs dishwashing/cleaning procedures. Assures that utensils, plates, cups, etc. are readily available for next meal
- Follows safety regulations and precautions at all times
- Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service preferred
- Previous experience working in long-term care or with the geriatric population preferred
- Must possess outstanding communication skills and be able to follow oral and written instructions
