RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Responsibilities
RiverView Health has a full-time (64 hours every two weeks) Environmental Services Aide position open. The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for daily cleaning and disinfecting of the entire Hospital and Clinics. The position will be responsible to ensure the environment is clean, disinfected and safe for patients, clients, visitors and staff. The position will work the day shift, every fourth weekend and will be trained for the evening shift.
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Emptying trash cans and replacing liners
- Ensure all areas are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Handle and dispose of waste in accordance with hospital regulations
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
- Completing assigned work orders
- Preparing rooms for new patients, ensuring that all surfaces, equipment and linens are clean
- Cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas, ensuring that they meet health and safety standards
- Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools
Qualifications
Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
Working knowledge of various cleaning equipment and tools
High School diploma/GED is preferred.
Preferred applicants will have effective written and verbal communication skills, some computer knowledge, be self-motivated and able to work with little direction.
Preferred applicants will have a valid driver's license
