LANDSCAPE ONSITE SUPERVISOR
Location: Selkirk, NY
Position: Full-time, Hourly
Compensation & Benefits: $21.00/hour (depends on experience) employee benefits package
Overview:
Riverview Companies is looking for an experienced, highly qualified Crew Leader to join our team. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of landscapers in the installation, maintenance, and improvement of landscapes. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Our Company is a fast growing, leading landscaping and snow removal company in the Northeast U.S, and our Albany branch is experiencing significant growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of landscapers
- Plan and coordinate landscape mowing and projects
- Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Maintain accurate crew time records
- Maintain and care for equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 5 years of experience in landscaping
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to drive a truck and trailer
Schedule:
- 40 hours a week
- Monday – Friday
- Overtime pay eligible
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Selkirk, NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Clean Driver's License a must
