Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical knowledge, particularly in primary care and will be comfortable working in a clinic settings. This role is essential for providing high-quality patient care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in the office.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories.
- Provide medical administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling correspondence.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment while ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Have the comfort level and ability to administer injections and testing
- Perform EKGs
- Qualifications
- Medical administrative support experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems and medical terminology
- Basic life support certification
- Strong patient service and care skills
- Experience in administering injections and taking vital signs
- Relevant experience in primary care and or pediatrics
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
