ResponsibilitiesRiverView Health has an opening for an On-Call Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).The RPSGT is responsible for the performance of all aspects of sleep disorder testing on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include selection of evaluation and assessment methods, application of electrodes and sensors with appropriate physiologic calibrations, following procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data, performance of polysomnographic data acquisition and documenting routine observations to facilitate scoring, interpretation of polysomnographic results, and disassembling, cleansing, and assembling Sleep Disorders Center equipment. Technologist will effectively and professionally interact with patients, family members, responsible party and other health care team members, while maintaining RiverView Health’s Standards of Behavior guidelines. Salary range is $31.23 - $43.73 and starting wage is dependent on experience.
Qualifications
Current State of Minnesota license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician -OR- current nationally recognized certification as a Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS).
Board Registered Polysomnography Technologist within (24) months of hire.
Current American Heart BLS and ACLS certifications are required. If not current training will be provided and certification must be obtained within 4 months from the date of hire or employment will be terminated.
Salary : $31 - $44
