What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Lead Officer position at Riverwalk Casino and Hotel of Vicksburg?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to:
- Lead other officers in the performance of duties, i.e., patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of entrances, etc.
- Investigate disturbances.
- Answer questions and provide other information to guests as requested.
- Escort employees with money banks from one destination to another.
- Escort table fills from the cage to the table games area.
- Check identification of any guest entering the casino to assure they are at least 21 years of age.
- Write reports of any irregularities encountered while on duty such as equipment or property damage, theft, or any other unusual occurrences.
- Circulate among guests to preserve order and protect property and guests.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education / Training / Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; Experience in security preferred but not necessary.
Qualifications

- Must have the ability to obtain a Work Permit issued by the Mississippi Gaming Commission.
- Current state issued driver’s license.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
