Riverway Assisted Living is looking for a friendly, energetic, dependable individual to work as our new administrative assistant! If you would like a career in Long Term Care as an Assisted Living Administrator, this is the perfect job for you. All you need is a four year college degree and a desire to learn and we will teach you the rest so that you can begin your career in long term care.
This position involves working with seniors, family members, and professionals in a fun and rewarding environment. The scheduled days would be Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones
- Conducting interviews when needed
- Communicating resident's needs with the care staff
- Greeting and assisting residents and family members in resolving concerns
- Scheduling
- Filing
- Maintaining records
- Time sheet corrections
- Any other duties as assigned by the administrator
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Be able to multitask
- Be a team player
- Have a friendly attitude
- Possess a love for the elderly population
- Excellent time management
- Able to remain calm under pressure
- Possess a college degree
One year of administrative assistant healthcare experience preferred. A background check and TB test are required upon hire.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
