Responsibilities:
· Responsible for claims processing and benefit rate verification
· Assists external providers, performs data entry and verification, and balances claims reports
· Works closely with internal staff and external providers
Qualifications:
· Associate degree or 5 or more years of equivalent experience
· Experience processing/billing medical claims or have worked in an accounting/reimbursement position
· Experience in a Managed Care environment preferred
· Must be detail oriented, possess advanced computer skills, have excellent communication skills and be customer focused.
· Demonstrated advanced analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills a must
· Requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet required deadlines
