The ideal candidate will be working alongside a progressive team of 3 orthopaedists and coordinating care of orthopaedic patients, ensuring continuity of care among family practice, emergency, and hospitalist providers.
The successful completion of accredited advanced practitioner training or physician assistant training program is required, as well as board certification as a practitioner (family or specialized) from an approved nurse practitioner program or national certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate care of orthopaedic patients, working with family practice, emergency, and hospitalist providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide pre-op and post-op care to orthopaedic joint replacement patients, emergency room consults, and minor orthopaedic procedures.
- Work with a progressive team of 3 orthopaedists to maintain and update joint registry, outcomes research, and data analysis.
