What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Manager position at Riverwood Healthcare Center?
About the Position:
This position will oversee and coordinate patient access functions across hospital and clinic locations, including admitting, scheduling, check-out, call center, and registration. The role works with departments to improve efficiency, particularly in relation to patient care and revenue cycle operations and ensures effective implementation of policies and procedures. Additionally, it involves recruiting, interviewing, and assigning new staff to appropriate roles.
What we are looking for:
- Three to five years of experience in front office or administrative roles, with at least two years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of Critical Access Hospitals and/or Rural Health Clinics is desirable.
- College degree is preferred.
