What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medication Aides (CMA) position at Riverwood Healthcare?
Our Certified Medication Aides are responsible for delivering medication services to residents and documenting resident services accordingly. In addition, our Medication Aides are required to : maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality with residents and family information; assist and / or administer medications as prescribed by physician to residents; assist / manage all medication refills; acts as a liaison between caregivers and nursing staff regarding medication; delivers services and monitors resident needs according to service plan; and ensures high quality resident care is consistently being delivered.

Job Requirements :
- CNA or equivalent certification
- First Aid and CPR certified
- Completion of course work / training in medications
- Six months’ experience in related position
- Complies with licensing requirements
- Able to occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
- Possesses a high degree of interpersonal relations skills
- Capable of relating to a variety of people and personalities
- Initiative, good-judgment and leadership skills required
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
