Responsibilities
- Oversee daily café operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and high standards of service.
- Supervise and train staff, including interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing development.
- Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to support café operations.
- Develop and implement catering services for special events, enhancing customer engagement.
- Foster a positive team environment by promoting collaboration and effective communication.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the café.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal menus that reflect current trends in fine dining.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management and shift management.
- Knowledge of fine dining standards, bartending practices, and coffee preparation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster relationships with both staff and customers.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
