As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will provide physical therapy treatments to patients according to established treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will contribute to the development, implementation, and progression of patient treatment, modifying treatment as necessary.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy treatments consistent with professional and ethical standards of the A.P.T.A.
- Document patient information to maintain quality of the medical record.
- C coordinate with other disciplines for effective total patient care.
- Assure delivery of quality care.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continued patient care.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Licensure as required by the State of Michigan
