Role Summary
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Palo Alto Based Applicants: $116,300 - $145,400 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Irvine Based Applicants: $107,000 - $133,700 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment.

Role Summary
- Develop software for command and control of hardware-in-the-loop systems.
- Participate in systems integration, systems design and code review activities.
- Contribute to Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies’ system-level test strategy.
- Assist infotainment, diagnostic and firmware teams as needed.
- Bachelors or Masters in Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or similar field.
- 3 years of relevant industry experience (1 in software test, validation or automation).
- Skilled in Object-oriented programming including C or C .
- Prior experience working with either CAN, LIN, UDS, Ethernet, or Serial communication.
- Familiarity with one or more of: DFV/DFT, robotics, firmware, and distributed systems.
- Comfortable with rapid changes and seeking out solutions independently.
