Role Summary
Internship Term:
Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027.

As a software product management intern, you'll collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, an product managers to deliver exceptional customer-focused solutions. You will work on real-world project that directly impact the software platform, gaining insights into the full product lifecycle - from discovery to delivery and analysis.
Responsibilities
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Internships: The range of pay for internships is 25.00-51.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, and other factors permitted by law.
Rivian provides robust wellness benefits, and a medical insurance package for interns, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.

Responsibilities
- Conduct research: Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities and feature improvements.
- Support definition of initiatives: Work closely with software product leaders and cross functional teams to define initiative detailed requirements and overall experience.
- Collaborate on product strategy: Assist in defining product roadmaps and strategies that impact the core vehicle ownership product experience.
- Test & Iterate: Work closely with data and analytics teams to define how we measure success and help to effectively communicate overall performance of the product experience.
- Support development cycles: Partner with a lead product manager to effectively align engineering and design partners to ensure product implementations milestones and quality standards are met.
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree at an accredited university
- Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in business, computer science, engineering, design, or related field.
- Strong interest in software innovation and how products go from idea to launch.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills with an bias towards first principal thinking.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, product management tools, or data analysis a plus.
