We are actively looking for a Supply Chain Solutions Engineer who is skilled at developing Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) solutions in Kinaxis Rapid Response (Kinaxis Maestro) and join Rivian on this adventurous journey. This position will be located in Palo Alto, CA, Irvine, CA or Normal, IL (Palo Alto, CA preferred) and will report to the Sr. Manager, PLM Program ManagementResponsibilitiesDevelop a good functional understanding of Rivian’s S&OP processes including Demand planning, Supply Planning and Fulfillment planning to enable Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) systems development and optimizationUnderstand the data model and workflows within Rivian’s Rapid Response (Maestro) solution implementation and propose / implement strategies to optimize and enable better S&OP processesAuthor and maintain complex workbooks and worksheets in Kinaxis Rapid Response (Maestro) as per business requirementsDesign and implement inbound and closed-loop outbound data integrations between Kinaxis and enterprise systems including ERP, PLM and several home-grown solutionsAnalyze, design and develop various integration architectures, file-based (using Data Transfer Client) and / or Kinaxis APIs for scalability and performanceDevelop and maintain data transformation scripts and procedures within Kinaxis Rapid Response (Maestro)Define and manage role-based user / group accesses to enable streamlined S&OP processesDevelop and implement processes to manage several Kinaxis Rapid Response environments, including package deployments and upgrades in collaboration with KinaxisQualifications7 to 10  years of hands-on experience on Kinaxis Rapid Response (Maestro), authoring workbooks, understanding of Kinaxis data model, developing data integrations and scripts within Kinaxis to maintain data flows and views. (preferred)Strong functional understanding of S&OP processes and overall Supply Chain domainAbility to work collaboratively across different organizational units to define processes and solutionsAn inquisitive mindset that always challenges status quo and asks whyExceptional oral and written communication skillsPay DisclosureSalary Range : USD - $149,700 - 187,100 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law). Benefits Summary : Rivian provides robust medical / Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Salary : $149,700 - $187,100
