Role Summary
Rivian is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst on our Service Finance team. This analyst will manage Field Service Headcount, Payroll, and Travel and collaborate with Service Center managers to drive each site to profitability. This role is critical to the success of strategically growing the Rivian Service Center network, so we're looking for an individual who is extremely analytical, super attentive to detail, a strong relationship builder, and motivated to drive results.
Responsibilities
Salary Range for California based applicants: $117,000 - $146,000 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).

Role Summary
Rivian is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst on our Service Finance team. Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted Business Partner to the Service organization by effectively reviewing, analyzing, and articulating divisional budgets and forecasts, and executing financial planning needs
- Manage Field Service Headcount and Payroll planning; review and approve Headcount requests within budget; drive down Payroll spend through efficient hiring, maximized Utilization, and minimized use of Contractors
- Track Field Service Travel expenses; guide efficient deployment of talent to reduce Travel needs
- Generate site-level Service Center P&Ls for a region of the US and review monthly with site managers to drive each site to profitability; manage Small Works Requests for sites in your region; and serve as the point-of-contact for all Finance questions
- Partner with Corporate Accounting and other Finance teams to perform monthly and quarterly close responsibilities; including managing accruals and preparing close presentations
- Prepare Budget and Forecast presentations that provide insightful analysis and required action items to support Service leadership in making informed business decisions, identify risks & opportunities, and track variances to the annual budget
- Proactively work to improve data quality and collection processes to drive continuous improvement in forecast timing and accuracy
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support other teams as needed
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to process data from multiple sources and build models from the ground up
- Provide robust support for business decisions through a methodical and holistic analytical approach with the ability to view challenges through various lenses
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to step-back and see the big picture
- Flexibility in prioritizing in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to effectively articulate financial stories in a clear and concise manner
- Proven ability in developing and improving processes to make reporting better, faster, and easier
- Ability to partner with people of various background and levels
- Strong Excel, Docs, and Slides skills required
- Experience with SAP, Hyperion, Databricks, and Hex a plus
- Experience in Automotive or Retail industries preferred
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA/CPA a plus) in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred
- Minimum 4 years of related business experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field
