Job Overview

Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the OpenTable system or cash register.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring that all orders are correct and meet quality standards.
- Provide recommendations on menu items to enhance the dining experience and drive sales.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, particularly in high-volume settings such as nightclubs or casual dining establishments.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Excellent time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic sales techniques is advantageous.
- Knowledge of culinary practices and food handling safety is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the restaurant's operating schedule.
