We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary with a minimum of 2-3 years of full-time experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of legal procedures and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Maintain and manage electronic and physical filing systems.
- Schedule meetings, court dates, and maintain attorneys’ calendars.
- Handle incoming calls and client correspondence professionally and confidentially.
- Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely submissions of court filings.
- Coordinate travel arrangements as needed.
- Perform other administrative tasks to support the legal team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of full-time experience as a Legal Secretary or similar role.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and filing protocols.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Work well in a group/team setting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and a high level of discretion with confidential information.
