Rivos is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to provide technical expertise and support to our customers using our advanced hardware and software solutions. As an FAE, you will be a key technical resource, enabling customers to integrate and optimize their applications with Rivos technology. This role involves direct customer engagement, debugging complex issues, providing hands-on support, and working closely with internal engineering teams to drive product success.
\n- Engage with customers to understand their requirements and help them optimize their applications for Rivos platforms.
- Provide hands-on technical support, including debugging and troubleshooting hardware and software integration issues.
- Develop technical collateral, including documentation, reference designs, and training materials.
- Work closely with internal engineering teams, including silicon design, system architecture, and software development, to provide feedback and influence future product designs.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure technical alignment with customer needs and industry trends.
- Represent Rivos at industry conferences, workshops, and customer events.
- At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Field Application Engineering, Technical Support, or Solutions Engineering.
- Strong background in hardware-software co-design, embedded systems, or high-performance computing.
- Proficiency in C/C and Python for debugging and scripting.
- Experience with CUDA, OpenCL, or SYCL
- Familiarity with computer architecture concepts, including CPUs, accelerators, memory subsystems, and interconnects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work effectively across teams and handle multiple customer engagements in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent skills in problem solving, written and verbal communication.
- Strong organization skills, and highly self-motivated.
- Ability to work well in a team and be productive under aggressive schedules.
PhD, Master’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
