What You’ll Do:

We’re seeking an Accountant to join our team and play a key role in our daily financial operations, general ledger management, and regulatory reporting. What You’ll Do:
- Process daily financial transactions and ensure accurate general ledger postings.
- Reconcile accounts, including ATM cash, clearing accounts, ACH transactions, and loans.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, accruals, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and file regulatory and tax reports, including NCUA Call Reports and 1099 filings.
- Support internal teams by researching discrepancies and resolving inquiries.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a financial institution.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
