What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Agent position at Rize?
The Inventory Agent is responsible for ensuring that the inventory within their RiZE location is compliant, achieving profit margin goals, selling at the desired rate, accurate on our menus, and accurate between METRC and Leaflogix.
Responsibilities:
1. Purchasing the store specific products for your branch (example- Red Arrow in IM or Hypha in MQT) and ensuring that you are maintaining proper inventory on hand levels utilizing the Inventory on Hand tool
- Providing appropriate lead time for the orders to arrive before the store runs out of stock.
2. Monthly checks on every branch's inventory data to ensure that LL and METRC are in sync.
3. Receiving Products accurately (including the Invoice check) o Invoice Tracker is up to date and accurate each day.
4. Branch inventory actions; moving product into/out of, Quarantine, Sales Floor and/or Backstock, quarantine, CRA Admin on Hold, destroying product per CRA Guidelines
5. Daily check on the expiring products
6. Shipping products via secured transport
7. Setting up and properly executing Vendor Days (with the Store Manager)
8. Proper storage of regulated and unregulated product
9. Products are accurately cataloged.
10. Ensuring that the sales floor is stocked using FIFO (first in first out) method, ensuring all categories are filled to an acceptable level on the sales floor, and that products on holiday deals/event deals/etc are on the sales floor.
11. Complete understanding and execution of all SOPs regarding inventory.
Required Skills/Abilities:
1. POS software
2. Timecard software
3. Schedule creation for multiple shifts
4. Oral and written presentations to cover best practices to a group or individual
5. People management – coaching and training
Education and Experience:
2 years of management experience (preferably in cannabis, retail, or sales) or higher-level education in business administration
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 30 pounds at a time
Travel:
Travel can be up to 20% of the given month.
Background Check/Drug Screen:
As a condition of employment, all employees are required to submit to a criminal history background check and a Drug Screen (minus THC). Employment decisions, in compliance with state law, are based on a candidate's background report. Employees have a duty to report any changes in their background to their Manager as soon as the employee is aware of the event.
Job Type: Full Time (30 hours per week)
Hours: various shifts between 8:00 AM- 9:00 PM, nights/weekends/holidays
Pay: $18.00/hour, Biweekly
