Responsibilities:
- Medication Administration: Passing all medications according to times on medication sheets. Follows & signs all medication, treatments and misc. medication orders per client’s doctors.
- Charting: Will chart daily per shift on each client. Plus fill out ADL’s per client per shift of services provided. Gives shift change report to oncoming staff.
- Cooking Meals: Following menu which includes client’s special diet order and meal plans. Our client’s help plan their menu choice which include: chicken, pork, beef, fish, all fruits, all vegetables and grains.
- Cleaning: Cleans kitchen after meals and snacks are finished for example sweeping, moping, dishes. Cleans bathrooms for example by bending and cleaning floors around toilets. Cleans other household rooms by dusting, vacuuming and other functions found on our daily cleaning task sheets.
- Follows Bathing & Laundry Schedule: Ensures that clients are putting clean clothes on after bathing, assistance with bathing and laundry as need per client. Sanitizing bathtub and/or bath chair after each use. Ensures wet towels are hung up and dirty laundry in laundry basket. Washing, drying and putting away all clean laundry.
- Reports: Medical to the nurse if clients have any bruising, skin break down or noticeable changes on the body or mentally. Fills out proper paperwork including incident reports.
- Transportation: When necessary transports clients to appointments with correct paperwork. Upon returning from appointment communicates with nurse and charts on the outcome of the appointment. If an emergency appointment incident reports filled out immediately.
- Training & Meetings: Attends all household meetings and required training to ensure continued employment.
Additional Requirements:
* Driving company vehicle: Must be 21 years of age and be approved by Rizon Homes vehicle insurance carrier to drive company vehicle.
* Precautionary Health Steps: Using mask, gloves and aprons in dealing with clients with infectious disease.
* Client Finances: Only assigned employees can handle client finances including checkbooks, cash and program money.
Job responsibilities can change as our resident's needs change, this includes and is not limited to scheduling, cleaning, charting and training. This job is supervised by an on-site House Supervisor and Rizon Homes Director of Nursing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
