What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech (Part Time) position at RIZZETTA & COMPANY INC?
Maintenance Tech: The Maintenance Tech shall be a part time, hourly position to provide the best possible customer service to the residents and guests to maintain a safe and comfortable environment, work with assigned contractors to ensure quality service is provided to the community, perform minor repairs to equipment and facilities as needed, and enforce the rules and regulations of the facility. They are the onsite representative of the Facilities Manager. The Maintenance Tech will also assist with overseeing outside maintenance services, assist with coordinating and planning projects and tasks, managing resident relations, coordinating with other outside entities as needed, interacting with the District’s Board of Supervisors and District Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance Supervisor
- The Maintenance Tech will be on property a minimum of 25 hours per week (part-time) and will perform the following duties:
- Assist with the overseeing of the operations of CDD owned property.
- Coordinate District maintenance and service visits by CDD vendors.
- Coordinate maintenance/service visits by pool & fountain vendor. Conduct minor repairs.
- Monitor vendor contracts and operations.
- Assist CDD Board in setting rules, procedures, and policies for District facilities.
- Assist with coordinating and planning projects and tasks.
- Maintain inventory of CDD property and assets.
- Work with the District Manager on projects and tasks as needed and prepare reports for presentation to Board of Supervisors.
- Service dog waste stations around the community, using community utility vehicle to commute the property.
- Upkeep of mailbox kiosk and other common area property to community standards (not including locks/keying).
- Light duty pressure washing/cleaning of common area property around amenity center using community provided equipment/water supply.
- Touch-up painting on community property.
- General grounds upkeep/trash collection around common areas.
- Any other duties assigned by the CDD.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
Work Environment
- Must be able to perform repetitive body mechanics, including but not limited to, climbing a ladder,
standing, stretching, twisting, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Prolonged standing,
- Variable combination of outdoor and indoor environments while performing maintenance duties.
