Previous experience in a Pre-Fabrication Department with an Eastman Fabrication Machine or CNC Machine Operations / Programming Experience in the Marine or Boat Building Industry is Highly Preferred.

Everglades Boats is currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the role of CNC Programmer / Operator. The CNC Programmer / Operator is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components for our boats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and a preference for candidates with CAD experience to optimize and enhance our production processes.
Essential Duties :
- Develop and write CNC programs for various machining operations based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce precision boat parts.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize part designs for manufacturability.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including machine settings and program changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all machining operations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Provide training and guidance to junior CNC operators as needed.
