We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to join our production team in a fast-paced boat building facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding metal components used in the construction of boats. This role requires precision, adherence to design specifications, and a commitment to producing high-quality marine products.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Abilities
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for metal fabrication.
Operate cutting, bending, and shaping equipment such as shears, press brakes, rollers, and saws.
Weld and assemble metal components using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques when necessary.
Perform finishing tasks such as grinding, polishing, and deburring to ensure smooth edges and proper fit.
Work with aluminum, stainless steel, and other marine-grade metals.
Conduct quality checks on fabricated components to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams to troubleshoot and refine fabrication processes.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following OSHA and company safety policies.
Keep tools and equipment in good working condition through regular maintenance and inspections.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

- Employees must be able to work a 10-hour shift or more in one work day including planned and unplanned overtime •
- Exhibits ability to work cautiously but efficiently in potentially hazardous conditions
