IT Infrastructure Manager Summary
Monday – Friday | Full-time
Reporting to the Director of IT, the IT Infrastructure Manager oversees the company’s technical operations and infrastructure. Responsibilities include leading a team of IT professionals, designing network infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems, and planning for disaster recovery.
IT Infrastructure Manager Duties
- Superintends IT Infrastructure teams including Help Desk, Desktop, Database, and Network Systems Administration staff.
- Fosters strong working relationships with internal technology stakeholders.
- Marshals cross-functional projects as required.
- Monitors and enforces security measures in place to protect the company’s data and IT infrastructure.
- Collaborates with all departments to monitor the effectiveness of software, hardware, and services, proposing changes in support of business goals and employee enablement.
- Reviews IT vendor support contracts annually to control costs and identify opportunities for service improvements.
- Employs root cause analysis and solid problem-solving techniques ensuring permanent resolution.
- Stays current on emerging technology.
- Guides the identification and achievement of IT team operational metrics.
- Assists team with troubleshooting complex technical support requests and provides technical direction when needed.
- Participates in regular department meetings, and other meetings as required.
- Constructs strong Vendor relationships.
IT Infrastructure Manager Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field
- Demonstrated success in IT project management
- 3-5 years’ experience leading IT functions and teams with diverse skills
- On-Prem Microsoft AD and Server Administration
- Entra and Microsoft 365 Administration
- Network Administration
- SharePoint and Teams exposure
- Experienced with disaster recovery methodologies and tools
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills
- Effective collaborator
