Company Overview : Rapidly growing company that provides a comprehensive range of wholesale commercial industrial liners, as well as other innovative plastic products. In search of a skilled Packaging Specialist to join their team. The Packaging Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing packaging systems for their products to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of materials, sustainability practices, and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities :
- Create and develop packaging solutions that protect products during transit and align with brand identity
- Work with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturing teams to ensure packaging is feasible for production and logistics
- Engage with multiple package suppliers to ensure box dielines are accurate; deadlines are met
- Facilitate key deliverables and timetables around artwork deadlines within each retail partner
- Analyze and select appropriate packaging materials based on cost, sustainability, durability, and product requirements
- Address any packaging-related issues that arise during manufacturing or shipping and develop corrective solutions
