Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced gutter installer with a good driving record to join our production team. The optimal candidate will have a proficient background in gutter installation that is punctual, organized, dedicated to quality customer service, team oriented, has management skills, and has strong communication skills. As a crew leader, you will be responsible for leading a small team of installers to execute work orders for installing and repairing gutters and downspouts on residential and commercial properties. Applicants must be comfortable using ladders, power tools, and able to lift gutter coil in and out of company vehicles. You will work directly with our production team to execute work orders and ensure the highest quality of service is delivered to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair gutters, gutter guards, downspouts, and associated products according to work order specifications provided by project managers
- Lead a small team of installers by effectively managing incoming work orders, picking up correct materials, and making sure projects are completed both timely and within budget
- Measure and cut gutter and downspout related products to fit the unique measurements of the client’s property
- Ensure gutters and downspouts are aligned and installed correctly for optimal water drainage
- Inspect and diagnose existing gutter and downspout systems as needed for any potential issues or warranty concerns
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure consistent work order execution and efficiently manage workload
- Follow and enforce proper safety and install requirements to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
Requirements:
- Verifiable experience as a gutter installer
- Strong knowledge of gutter and downspout fabrication process and installation techniques
- Ability to read and understand basic work order instructions
- Ability to use a mobile device and computer to enter project notes and communicate with other team members effectively
- Ability to manage gutter crew members of 2 people and keep project on track
- Proficiency with hand and power tools pertinent to gutter and downspout installation
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Valid drivers license with good driving record and reliable transportation
- OSHA certification preferred but not required, certifications may be paid by company for qualified candidates
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
